The hesitant, gentle touch betrays the rugged, rough exterior. I love the ambiguity. It makes me wonder what this man thinks about when he can't sleep at night. Bobby at 2005-03-22 11:20:49
I think you hit it just perfectly here...(remember our discussion?) mark at 2005-03-22 12:05:35
that's a very gentle caress he's giving mrs. pig rumkolat at 2005-03-22 14:52:26
"Uh, no, this one has no tail. I cut it off before the Fair started. We didn't want to eat the whole pig at once. Do you like the comb cut ears?" skip at 2005-03-22 15:59:54
[BrickTop]:You need at least sixteen pigs to finish the job in one sitting, so be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm. They will go through a body that weighs 200 pounds in about eight minutes.... eggheadsherpa at 2005-03-22 18:45:43
nice shot. I thnk that the light in the background wall and, even more, the glowing light outside the window is making the whole image more more interesting and more real. another at 2005-03-22 18:49:54
Wow, I didn't even notice the windows - good call another. Donnie at 2005-03-22 19:12:57
i wonder if he's related to the guy from metallica... m at 2005-03-22 21:30:33
"I think you hit it just perfectly here...(remember our discussion?)" -- is that what the guy is saying to the pig? Rob at 2005-03-22 22:01:42
Here is the gentle giant again, with the tender touch. I think he really does love his animals.
He has that tough guy look. Yet he looks lonely too.
This photograph tells lots of stories.
(The background windows make things spooky, but he really isn't spooky at all.) Kidist at 2005-03-23 01:22:15
"Train don't run outa Witchita, lessen you a hog, or cattle. People train runs outa Stubville." Manuel at 2005-03-23 21:25:12
Yes, he looks lonely. And that's what the pig is for. Celia at 2005-03-24 07:49:35
trust is such a strange thing. His touch seems to say he trusts the animal, and the animal seems to return that trust (domestic allowance). While his gaze towards the camerman shows a distrust. Which is strange because the animal will loose it's life to the farmer, while the farmer has only lost his dignity to the camera. me at 2005-03-29 21:16:04
is he horny? passer at 2005-04-26 09:32:19
