trust is such a strange thing. His touch seems to say he trusts the animal, and the animal seems to return that trust (domestic allowance). While his gaze towards the camerman shows a distrust. Which is strange because the animal will loose it's life to the farmer, while the farmer has only lost his dignity to the camera.
