in certain cases i could see the corner bothering someone, but i think it adds to the narrative of a nether-like world, and the box of light goes well with the video games and the world in which it connotes--I think it makes the photo more interesting actually--across the way the man squints and seems to concentrate as if he created the light in the corner.
